Abstract: The asphaltic material separated from North-Kadi and Viraj crude oils by using different solvents of varying polarity and solvent power were characterized for their number average molecular weight and as well or their elemental analysis.Their thermal behaviour was also studied by Thermogravimetric Analyzer. (TGA) and correlated. with their crystallinity determined by X-ray diffractometery.
